Creativity Challenge Compose your own "Something's Fishy"

Visual art can also be a wonderful inspiration for composing music. Check out this watercolor by Judy Greenwald.

Could you compose a piece inspired by "Something's Fish?"

Some things consider:
  • Is your water murky or clear? How can you represent that with sound?
  • Does your fish swim fast or slow?
  • Is your fish colorful like Judy's? How can we make colorful sounds on the piano?
  • Does your fish have a story to tell?
  • Does your fish have a mood? How can you create that mood on the piano?
  • Is your fish quirky? Or perhaps mischievous? Or maybe your fish is graceful and sophisticated!
